Mangesh Gajjar is most well known for being part of Indian music composing duo Nitin-Mangesh who worked in the Hindi film industry during the 1970s and early 1980s. Their most notable works include - Samaanta (1972), Qaid (1975), Aafat (1977) and Khanjar (1980).

 

The duo have composed for and collaborated with many renowned Hindi film playback singers including - Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey and Asha Bhosle.

 

​Mangesh has also collaborated with numerous UK artists, producing work that is both distinctive and reflective of his extensive experience in the Hindi film industry.
